Haiti Health Care Resource Finder (includes Cholera Treatment Centers)
http://haiti.resource-finder.appspot.com
Created by Google, this is an online "open window" to Haitian Health Facilities,
based on the Travax database (www.travax.com/m) which is being used by MSPP.
The site is easy to use. It is interactive and requires everyone's cooperation
to maintain the accuracy of the database.
1.
Simply "sign in" by clicking on the top right hand corner of the screen. You
can use any Google account for login.
2.
You can search by Health Facility, or by
Speciality.
3.
To edit the facility, simply click on the "Edit this record" tab.
All changes will be linked to your login account address.
4.
A discussion forum
is now open here(>https://sites.google.com/site/resourcefinderdiscussion/home)
for any questions or concerns that you may have.
5.
If your facility is
not listed please send an email directly to:
haitiaid@shoreland.com.
The database is not yet complete, but together we can populate
it.
How to Register an NGO with MSPP
Following the earthquake of January 12, 2010, this process is mandatory. NGO registration needs to be renewed every six months and is required in order to attend weekly health cluster meetings as well as other `subcluster' meetings or working groups.
1. Please go to the MSPP website: www.mspp.gouv.ht
2. Find "Inscription des ONG" and click on the link.
3. Click to start the registration form at the bottom of the page.
You can also get this registration form on paper from the Commission (AOPS, 41 rue Borno, Petion-Ville)
